DIRECTOR

Drew Ramsarran is the founder of the Theatre Academy at Somerset Parkland Academy, a program known for its successful shows and transformative impact on young performers. With over 20 years of experience in the performing arts, Drew is a dedicated youth theatre director who has directed more than 40 musicals and developed numerous programs that inspire and empower young talent.

As a passionate educator, Drew's favorite aspect of theatre is teaching it to the youth and witnessing them unlock their potential. His dynamic and inclusive approach to theatre education has led to innovative youth theatre initiatives in Broward County schools, where he currently serves as a director. Additionally, Drew is the executive director for Invision Theatre Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing theatre, educational shows, and art to the local community.

Drew is thrilled about the upcoming year and looks forward to continuing this journey with his students. His commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the arts remains the cornerstone of his work at Somerset Parkland Academy.

Nicole Dikun is a versatile and talented music director, actor, and choreographer based in South Florida. Starting her career at the young age of 8, Nikki began performing at the Coral Springs Center for the Performing Arts. She later transitioned into teaching, becoming the vocal, dance, and acting instructor for K-12th grade fall classes at the same venue.

Nikki has an impressive list of credits, including serving as the Assistant Choreographer for Measure for Measure Theatre Company’s production of "In the Heights," MNM's production of "Hair" at the Kravis Center, and most recently, "Once On This Island" at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts. She played a pivotal role as the music director for the successful productions of "Descendants" and "The Little Mermaid" last year.

An avid employee at Next Stop Broadway, Nikki is delighted to rejoin as a private instructor, continuing to inspire and nurture young talent. Her passion for the performing arts and her commitment to her students help them build confidence and shine on stage.
